Helmut and Christine Kuhn . .. Our Great Grand Cousins from Germany

Last Thanksgiving, 2014, we met our Great Grand Cousin Helmut Kuhn

and his wife Christine.

They live in Lucerne Switzerland.  Helmut has been trying to find his Kuhn relatives, who live in America for many years.  He finally did and we all had a BIG CELEBRATION!!!

We were thrilled.  We could not get enough of them.

WONDERFUL PEOPLE.

It was a big reunion.  The Kuhn Cousins haven't gotten together

for many years

and it was so fun to see everyone.

Tammy, me, Julie, Petra, Tina and Marilyn, to name a few.

Here is my husband, Tim and youngest son, Kyle

They spend a few days at our place, and it was a GREAT TIME!!

They love the outdoors and love to go on walks.

We took them at the 2002 World Fair Exhibit, in Park City, Utah

We took a stroll down the Historic Main Street in Park City.

The next day we went to Antelope Island, on the Great Salt Lake.

We hiked around and it was quite an outing.

The scenery was FABULOUS!!

I made them a wall hanging to take home.

They picked out this quilt I made too . . . . .

There were many family get-togethers,

we would meet up as a group so we all could visit.

On Thanksgiving, we gathered church and we all celebrated together.

Everyone brought some food and it was a WONDERFUL TIME.
Unfortunately, Kristian and Tracy, my oldest son, and his family could
not attend from California.
  Tim and Jessica were in Minnesota, visiting her family.

Meeting of the Minds

Helmut wanted to see the graves of my father

and his parents, Rudolph and Julia Kuhn.

They are in the Salt Lake Cemetery.

It was time to say Good Bye.
