Aches and Pains . . .

Getting older is not a "piece of cake" . . . In my mind I still feel 18 . . . but some of the ole body parts feel their age.  My good friend Shellie introduced me to a "life saver", she swears by it. . . Have you heard of Hi-Dow? It is quite a little machine.   So now I am a proud owner . .  Hopefully it will do the trick. . . bending over sewing and using the computer my neck and shoulders get a bit sore.  Maybe this will rejuvenate me . . . . We'll see.

Back in the Day 1972

Going thru negatives, my husband came across this family picture.  This is the whole Kuhn family.  If I can remember . . my oldest brother, George, Marilyn and I have come back from San Francisco to visit the family.  Julie is getting ready to go on a mission to Germay.  This was taken down in Prove at the old Mission Training Center.  Boy, time sure flies . .

Sundance Film Festival

It was a Great Weekend . . .

It is that time again - the annual Sundance Film Festival.  It is always a riot to get a piece action.  Tim and I took the bus up to Park City on Friday.  After having lunch we headed for Main Street.  Some of the stars we ran into were Chelsea Hightower (Dancing with the Stars), Anne Heche (7 days and 7 Nights, Hung), Andie MacDowell (Green Card and Ground Hog's Day); Blythe Danner (Meet the Parents).  Then there was a ruckus and across the street was Leo DiCaprio and his entourage.  It was pretty fun.  In my next life I want to be a performer.  I get the biggest kick out of it.

Spending the Afternoon with Charlene

Here is one of many beautiful watercolors that Charlene has done.  She has won many awards.

Charlene is my good friend, Toni's MOM.  She is such a great lady. 

She is truly an inspiration to me.  She has a wonderful outlook on life and is full of fun.  She is quite an artist, and has a wonderful way of expressing herself.  It is her birthday on the 18th, she will be 80+.  Having some set backs these past few years, she has come out of them unbelieveably.  Charlene, you are the GREATEST!

Toni is a friend I have known forever. .  She really is like a sister to me.  We have gone thru so many things together.  I love her sense of humor.  She always perks one up . .  a life saver!!!

It is always fun to have Sheila around.  All three of us had a fun afternoon together.

Another "Best Day Ever"

My dear friend told me about a friend that was very sick and he was getting worse every day.  She would go visit him and he always looked for something to cheer him up.  Knowing that things would not improve, he would tell her "today is the best day ever".  What inspiration he is.  We don't appreciate what we have until it is gone.  For example . . . "A Bad Hair Day" really is a good hair day . . WE HAVE HAIR!!!!  We need to always look for good and beauty . . . that is one of my goals this year.  This pictures is one of my favorite places - TETONS.  This can cheer one up.

It is a new year . ..  so many things to do and try.  My New Year's resolutions are -

Try new and different things, at least once, make a bucket list so I can get started
Become more organized
Be more positive
