HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014

On New Years Eve we also celebrated Christmas Eve again from Tim and Jess.

The whole family was together this time.

Ellie was with G-Pops, helping him put the delicious Seafood and Steak dinner together.

I couldn't wait until I got a turn with Ellie . .. my DOLL!

Dinner was extravagant . . Pops out-did him self once again!!

It was so fun to see the brother goofing off together, like the good old times!

Now it was present time. .. we opened up gifts from Tim and Jess

 and they opened up ours to them.

Tawnya, Jess' sister was so kind . . she gave gifts to all of us. . .we love you Tawnya!!

Had a wonderful time with the family.

 Here are the pillows I made for Jessica.  Timmy drew the Nisse.

 I made these pillow covers for the living room.

This one says "Good New Year".

 This one says "Merry Christmas".

 This is the Christmas Tree Skirt I made for Tracy,

to match the Table Runner I made for her last year.

 I made six different versions of this table runner for my friends.

CHRISTMAS - 2013

It was a FUN Christmas this year (2013). We had my sister, Marilyn

and Kristian, Tracy and cute little Ellie over for the traditional

Christmas Eve Celebration. 

We did miss Tim and Jessie . . .but I guess you have to share . .. they went to Minnesota to be with Jessie's family.  It is our turn to have them next year. 

 After dinner we hear a knock on the door . . ..  It was the Jul Nisse!!!!

 

Ellie didn't know what quite to do . . . This man was "strange" . ..

But when he sat down and opened up his bag of gifts . .it got here attention.

Ellie was very interested, watching every move he made.



When she heard her name. . . all of the sudden she was up and over

 to see what he had for her.

OH BOY!!!

He was so nice . . he was a very happy Nisse.

Well it was time to move on . .. so he waved and said "GOD JUL" and out he went.

But before he left, we had to get a picture. . as you can see,

Ellie wasn't to happy about it.

It really was an "ELLIE Christmas" this year . .. she had the floor.

HUMMM . . .. I wonder what this is?

She loved to unwrapped gifts . . .

CAR!!! . . . her favorite thing this year!

"What does Papa have here?"  . . .

Marilyn was pleasantly surprised . . it was fun to have her here.

Now Ellie can help G-Pops unwrap his gifts . . .

She loved her new car!!

Ellie became an expert in ripping paper, couldn't do it enough!

I had many surprises myself . .

Now it is time to sit back and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Kyle was working late for UPS. . .double shifts.  We waited for him but he didn't get home until 10:30 PM. . . He was actually being a Santa's Helper.

It was a late night for sure . . .but the Slumber Party was GREAT!!
